Sightseeing On Your Visit to Banff
The town of Banff and the ski resorts are only a small part of the National Park. Beyond the town lies a natural world that must be experienced. In and around the park s day of sightseeing, a drive, a guided tour, or a guided hike will maximize your experience here.
Whether or not you have your own car we suggest you take a guided tour (about $45.00 per person for a half day guided tour) given by one of the local companies. You will see wildlife, learn about the history that makes Banff the dynamic place it is and experience the rugged beauty of the mountains up close. Remember your cameras and extra film because you will have many photo opportunities. Guides are certified and have a passion for the place they live and love to share information about it.
